At a park where they have a lake and a beach to swim in celebrating something. Not sure what but all of my family and husbands family is there. Im talking with my step father when all I can hear is the agonizing screams of my mom at a distance. I can see her being dragged around and hit from a distance. I told someone to call 911 and grab my kids and take off running. Once I get closer I see its my nothing law hurting her saying shes going to kill her and me. My husband grabs his mom and I grab mine. After making sure shes okay I get grabbed by the back of my hair and pulled up to my feet. My mother in law has me and is screaming die. My husband gets her off of me eventually. I turn around telling him to let her go she hits me once and I begin to fight her with all my might until she falls to the ground. Once on the ground I got down to her and began beating her face and screaming no words just screaming a terrible agonizing ear shattering scream and crying. I could hear people begging me to stop that ibwas going to kill her. I get picked up off the ground by my husband as im still screaming and crying. She was knocked out on the ground. I look over to see people recording it and derricks friends and my family looking shocked. Noone was mad at me but seemed concerned by how I was reacting. Police came and ambulances. Now I can see myself as in third person viewing and I was wrapped up in a blanket shaking and blankly stairing while in the distance you can see the ambulance taking my mom and mother in law to the hospital. After police watched the video and spoke to everyone I was told to go to the hospital withtmy mother and police would be with mother in law waiting to arrest her. I woke up breathing heavily, body shaking, and my heart racing. It was all what felt like a fast dream.
This intense and vivid dream contains a multitude of strong emotions and symbols. Here is a detailed interpretation:
Setting and Gathering: The park setting with a lake and beach often symbolizes a peaceful, idyllic place where life's emotional and intellectual elements are balanced. The family gathering for a celebration may reflect your desire for unity and harmony within the family, but it’s overshadowed by conflict and trauma.
Family Dynamics: The presence of both your family and your husband's family suggests a focus on relationships and perhaps unresolved tensions or conflicts between them. The stepfather's juxtaposition with your mother's distress might indicate concerns about patriarchal or familial authority.
Hearing and Responding to Screams: Hearing your mother’s screams may signify subconscious fears related to her wellbeing or a fear of familial conflict. Her struggle and your immediate response to protect her represent your protective instincts and possibly latent fears of losing control over family harmony.
Conflict and Violence: Seeing your mother-in-law attacking both your mother and you reveals internal conflicts with your husband’s family or potential unresolved disputes. The violence might symbolize deeper anxieties or past experiences that feel threatening to your sense of peace and safety.
Transformation of Perspective: Transitioning from fighting to observing the scene in third-person indicates a shift in how you process intense emotions or situations. This detachment may reflect a need to distance yourself from overwhelming emotions or experiences, or possibly a desire to gain perspective and clarity on family and personal dynamics.
Public Scrutiny: The presence of people recording the scene and others reacting with shock suggests concerns about public perception or fear of judgment from others. It indicates the pressure you might feel about how your actions and reactions are viewed by your extended social circle or community.
Authorities and Consequences: The involvement of police and ambulances hints at seeking justice, resolution, or intervention in family matters. It also points towards a hope for external support to manage or mediate family issues.
Physical Reactions upon Waking: Your physical reactions—breathing heavily, shaking, and feeling your heart race—suggest that the dream touched on serious underlying stress or anxiety. This physiological response could be an indication that the issues portrayed in the dream are not fully resolved in your waking life.
Reflective Points:
This dream reflects inner conflicts, fears, and possible unresolved family dynamics. Addressing these elements consciously may lead to personal growth and emotional relief.
